Im Potsdamer Neuen Garten ließ Friedrich Wilhelm II. von 1787–1792 das Marmorpalais errichten. Die Architekten von Gontard und Langhans (Erbauer des Brandenburger Tors in Berlin) schufen ein Schlossgebäude im Stil des Frühklassizismus.

The Marmorpalais is a former royal residence in Potsdam, near Berlin in Germany, built on the grounds of the extensive Neuer Garten on the shores of the Heiliger See.
