Büyükdere'deki bentlerden künklerle getirilen suyun dağıtımının yapıldığı yer olduğundan bu adı almıştır. 25 yıl öncesine kadar birkaç benzinlik ile yapıdan oluşan bir yerken, bugün birçok uluslararası şirketi barındıran, gökdelenleri ile İstanbul'un en önemli semtlerinden birisidir.

Maslak is a neighbourhood in Sarıyer, Istanbul Province, in Turkey. Its population is 12,260 (2022). It is one of the main business districts of Istanbul, located on the European side of the city.
