İzmir'in Konak ilçesinde bir semttir. İzmir'in tarihi yapılarından biri olan Tarihi Asansör bu semtte yer almaktadır. Karataş tarihte Museviler'in yoğun olarak yaşadığı bir semtti. Karataş Musevi Hastanesi ve 1907'de inşa edilen tarihi Beth Israel Sinagogu da Karataş semtinde bulunmaktadır.

Karataş is a municipality and district of Adana Province, Turkey. Its area is 862 km2, and its population is 23,499 (2022). The town itself has 10,293 inhabitants.
