Se estendendo desde o limite norte da cidade, divisa com o estado, junto a Praia dos Molhes, até as primeiras rochas em direção sul. Junto ao centro da cidade a Praia Grande tem grande concentração de espigões, alguns mais altos que os morros do município, descaracterizando a paisagem.

Praia Grande is a municipality in the Baixada Santista Metropolitan Region, on the southern coast of the Brazilian state of São Paulo.
