Schloss Cecilienhof was the last palace built by the Hohenzollern family that ruled Prussia and Germany until 1918. Here, in 1945, the Potsdam Conference took place, in which the leaders of the SU, the UK and the US took important decisions affecting the shape of post WW II Europe and Asia.
