Laurier Heights

Laurier Heights is a residential neighbourhood in west Edmonton, Alberta, Canada overlooking the North Saskatchewan River valley. It began its development in the 1950s and was named after Sir Wilfrid Laurier, Prime Minister of Canada from 1896 to 1911. A portion of the neighbourhood along Buena Vista Road is located in the river valley, and this portion is sometimes called Buena Vista. (Wikipedia)
