Het Watersnoodmuseum is gevestigd in de vier caissons die werden gebruikt voor het sluiten van het laatste dijkgat, ontstaan tijdens de watersnood van 1953. Het museum is gelegen in de zeedijk ten zuiden van het Zeeuwse dorp Ouwerkerk.

The Watersnoodmuseum or Flood Museum is the Dutch national knowledge and remembrance centre for the flood of 1 February 1953. The museum was officially opened on 2 April 2001. It welcomes around 100.000 visitors yearly and also educates visitors about water safety and the collects global knowledge about flooding. (Wikipedia)
